Product Update

I install Edimax wireless adapter in Windows 7/Vista, but the wireless is not working. The Wireless Network Connection can't be enabled. It's always on disable. What should I do? 2010-04-21

This problem is confirmed due to anti-virus software or firewall in the computer. One anti-virus software that known to us called Kasperky. In the Control Panel>Network and sharing center>Change adapter setting>Manage network connections, Right-click on the Wireless Network Connection and go to it's Properties, unchecked the "Kaspersky anti-virus ndis 6 filter" solved the problem.

Please check your anti-virus software or firewall settings. if you can't find out how to by-pass the wireless connection under your anti-virus/firewall (esp. Zone Alarm), uninstall the anti-virus/firewall first. Then, enable the wireless connection and get it connected. Once the wireless is up and running, then re-install your anti-virus/firewall.
